It has a three layer construction which is designed to provide optimal handling characteristics, while remaining comfortable to use. In addition to this, it has a smooth tapered and seamless tip designed to pass smoothly through the urethra into the bladder. The Hydrophilic coating when wet creates an almost friction free insertion and withdrawal. As a bonus, it can also be indefinitely folded to fit discretely into a pocket or wallet.

Similar to its male counterpart, the Hydrosil® Rose Female Intermittent Catheter is made from silicone which is soft, flexible, resilient and firm. It’s designed to be easy to use and comfortable at the same time. It has a pliable inner layer for easy navigation, a firm middle layer for easy handling and an ultra-soft outer layer for comfort. It has a smooth, seamless tip which will help with insertion and its hydrophilic coating helps to streamline the process.
